I am a first-year PhD in the Machine Learning Department, School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Prof. Aviral Kumar and Prof. Ruslan Salakhutdinov.
My research interests lie in exploring the intersection of reinforcement learning and foundation models. I am deeply passionate about creating innovative algorithms and systems that address diverse decision-making challenges in reasoning and agentic tasks.
Before coming to CMU, I earned my bachelor's degree from the
Department of Computer Science at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, where I had the privilege of working with
Prof. Josiah P. Hanna. Prior to attending UW-Madison, I also spent some time at the
Chinese University of Hong Kong.
